I know the PSP can be a real bitch with custommaps, but is there an "official" known limitation?
I already know that HLBSP runs and loads much faster than Q1BSP, and loading from the console
(map yourmaplol.bsp) seems to crash the game/map, but the "replacing" trick doesnt
(replacing = replace wahnsinn.bsp with your map and it works)..
And loading from the console starts the game in multiplayer mode, right?

Only if deathmatch is "1" or higher (it usually is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went to single player mode) I'm sure you already know this, but if it's on "0", it would be considered either Co-op or SP. Oh, and about starting a map from console: I've started MANY maps from the console, such as fragtwn6 (without the .bsp), and it worked fine. I know you can do it both ways, but from what I understand, if you type map MAP_NAME.bsp, it either looks only for the bsp files and not .way or .ENT files, or is just longer to type (maybe both). I could be wrong though. I'm neither a map maker, nor coder, but I know a bit about quake mods and how they work.
